The kitesurfing lesson
After a detailed description by the kite teacher about the procedure to start gaining control of the kite. Understand all the details, the “do and the don’t”, our new student started to familiarize with a kite trainer model, which is the first step in the process of communicating with the kite
Once you “start to understand each other” I mean, you and the kite, we pass to more detailed control and different type of kites. If first we had a basic kite model, now we have a more precise and of course more powerful one
and with the progression comes along the thrill and the finding of real power which the kite delivers, as you are getting more precise in your commands, therefore, what a better chance to ask gently to our student to get rid of her mask, so everybody can enjoy her pretty face
and at the same time, we can see on her face expression the concentration in handling the kite
looking upwards. Ah! … looking at the kite! there is the source of most of your problems. Why? Simply because to concentrate your attention on the kite will deprive you of the space of time which you need to remember what to do
and with it, by feeling the traction power of the kite, comes along the change in your face expression. This kite is dragging you faster and harder that you thought!
After gaining control on the beach,
next, comes the water experience
the goal of the next step in your progression is to gain control of the kite by body dragging, that is, finding the most power on the steering of your kite
and get dragged powerfully over the water
in fact … really powered, that’s why you looks more like a submarine than a girl
and back where you started body dragging, half recomposed …
to start all over again …
